Maris

Growing up on the southern shores of England, Maris was no stranger to the coming and goings of ships. Raised by her father, a pirate, and her mother, the local harlot. Before she was fully grown she had been sailing the high seas and learning the ropes in the shipyard. While out at sea her father hid her identity by dressing her as a deckhand, but on the shores her mother would teach her the smuggling trade. No one expects a little girl to be selling stolen goods.

Once grown she decided to take her talents and venture out on her own. She wanted to find a crew that wouldn’t swim away with the tide. One night after she unloaded the last of her goods she stumbled into the rusty tap, where she met the infamous harlot queens. These are exactly her kind of people. Now she passes herself off as a local shellfish merchant selling clams and cockles, when in reality she is selling her clam and stolen goods to anyone for the right price.

In the ordinary world, Maris enjoys nature, traveling adventures, and creating art of any kind. She loves to acquire any and all new hobbies but her wallet does not. As an avid reader and writer she is very excited to tell stories and tales through song.
